The National Opera
The National Opera House is Ireland’s first custom-built,
multi-purpose opera house, renowned for hosting the world-famous Wexford Festival Opera. This striking landmark, located in the heart of the charming harbour town of Wexford, features two diverse performance spaces: the O’Reilly Theatre and the Jerome Hynes Theatre. The facility also offers numerous meeting and hospitality options, including a café and several bars.

Johnstown Castle
Johnstown Castle, located in County Wexford, is a splendid example of Victorian revival architecture in Ireland. Gifted to the Irish Nation in 1945, the castle was later occupied by the Department of Agriculture, which established an agricultural institute and committed to maintaining the ornamental grounds without altering them. The castle grounds, open year-round, are perfect for leisurely strolls, featuring lovely woodland gardens and lakeside pathways. A visit to Johnstown Castle is highly recommended when staying in Wexford. Opening hours are from 9 am to 4:30 pm, extending to 5:30 pm in summer.

The Hook Lighthouse
The Hook Lighthouse, situated on Hook Head at the tip of the Hook Peninsula in County Wexford, is one of the oldest lighthouses in the world and the second oldest still in operation, following the Tower of Hercules in Spain.

The Saltee Islands
The Saltee Islands, consisting of Great Saltee and Little Saltee, lie 5 kilometers off the southern coast of County Wexford. Privately owned by the Neale family since 1943, these islands have been largely unoccupied since the early 20th century.
